• We have just completed three challenging projects:

*Rusmail QD Powered Belt Conveyors:

• Four Rusmail QD powered belt conveyors and a 90? belt curve forms a conveyor system incorporating PLC and sensor controls to create a fixed gap between 2 merged lines of small bundles ahead of a sealer unit. The conveyors ranged from 750 mm long to 2,500 mm long, each fitted with 300 mm endless belts, integral drum drive and polycarbonate security covers. We are providing mechanical and controls supervision to commission the system during March.

*Heavy-duty Powered Belt Conveyors:

• The second major project just completed covered the design, manufacture and installation of two heavy-duty powered belt conveyors for moving bulky, plastic wrapped furniture products to and from a 3 m high mezzanine floor. The system included 2-way controls on each belt conveyor, centre-drive heavy duty motors with brakes, and gravity roller conveyors to assist the loading and unloading of the bulky items.

• A special belt material was selected to ensure safe handling of the items on the incline/decline to avoid goods slippage down the belts.

*Gravity Flow Storage System:

• The third project involved a 3-tier gravity flow storage system for automotive components. The unit has 3 levels of gravity rollers, 2 levels for supplying components in boxes and the bottom level for return of empty boxes. The unit was approx. 3 m long x 1.5 m high and 700 mm wide. The whole assembly was designed to meet our customer's specific requirements.
