*Rusmail Website Related Orders:

• Two interesting projects since our last up-date are for two very different applications – one handling boxed archive materials, the other for handling small packaged products.

• In both cases we were contacted as a result of Internet searches for a tailored solution to the problem.

*Health and Safety Audit:

• The first developed from a Health and Safety audit where excessive handling of relatively heavy products was highlighted and a means of reducing the amount of manual handling needed to be found.

• We developed a solution based on a combination of our standard QD series powered belt conveyor, gravity roller conveyors and ball-tables. Some of the items are to be supplied as mobile units so they can be readily moved indoors and stored overnight.

*Handling Small Packages:

• The second project has resulted in a specially modified version of one of our QD style powered belt conveyors to handle small packages as part of a labelling operation. The conveyor is 1500 mm long fitted with 160 mm wide belt, special adjustable side guides and support stands.

• The drive motor is an integral drum motor fitted with an inverter speed controller.

• In each case a no-obligation site visit was made to see our customer’s problem first-hand to discuss requirements, take measurements etc. as a basis for preparing a detailed proposal.
