* Air-Con Manufacturer Bins the Bins

• Denso Manufacturing UK manufactures a wide range of air-conditioning units for vehicles. Due to the complexity of the business it is necessary to hold large stocks of components within easy reach of the operators. Traditionally this was done with storage bins. This had become unsatisfactory as the need for flexibility on the assembly line meant constantly changing bins. This practice slowed production and caused obstructions.

Solution:

• A mobile, frame-based system, consisting of a number of various-sized Rusmail Belt Conveyors , together with small parts delivery chutes. This system can be configured within the frame in a variety of positions, depending on the need. The conveyors were fitted with integral drum drive motors.

Solution:

• Well it could be the result of a Rusmail Belt Conveyor forming the basis of the new bag filler and sealer unit.

• In a length of only 3m, bags of 25-40Kg are automatically filled from a nett-weigh hopper. The Rusmail Belt Conveyor moves them to the bag sealer, then to the end take-off point, where they are at the correct height for loading onto pallets.
