*Our New Website!

• Our upgraded website has now been operational for two weeks and we have had very positive user comments. If you have any comments - good or bad - please let us know as we wish it to be user-friendly as possible

• As a point of interest, we have also had the website validated by the W3C - World Wide Web Consortium, which means the site achieves its high requirements standards.

• Please also note our new logo which depicts product movement using conveyors, both straight runs and turns.

*Overhead Cable Conveyors:

• As part of our diversification programme we have been carrying out a market survey within the UK and Eire food industry. Many thanks to those of you who have taken your time to assist us with this programme. The overhead cable driven system is being used extensively in handling prepackaged salads, sandwiches etc. It is ideal for moving empty or filled boxes to and from work stations and filling machinery, using roof space rather than valuable floor space.

*Lift Conveyor:

• We were asked to design and supply a 5m long powered belt conveyor that could be raised and lowered approx. 2M and then tilted through 10-15 degrees in either direction. The conveyor handles large rolls of plastic material and deposits them into large stillages. More details in our next update.

*Immersed Conveyor:

• A special metals company for whom we had previously supplied a mobile elevating conveyor asked if we could design a conveyor to remove fine metal pieces from a quenching tank. We selected a flighted - walled polyurethane belt and designed the conveyor with special sealed bearings at the bottom end. The conveyor was fabricated in stainless steel. The unit which is illustrated in the adjacent picture has been operating successfully for approx. 18 months.

*Stainless Steel Conveyors:

• This picture illustrate a mobile stainless steel conveyor with inverter speed control and integral drum drive motor, based on our QD style conveyor. The unit was fully assembled and ready for collection in 7-10 working days from order and will be part of a food handling system in one of the UK's major theme parks.

*Refurbishment:

• We are carrying out an increasing amount of refurbishment work on belt conveyors e.g. belts, rollers, clip repairs and/or replacement and also guarding and controls. Sometimes it may be more cost-effective to refurbish rather than replace a unit. Can we help?
