*Increased throughput - powered roller line shaft conveyors.
A major international bottled water producer needed to increase the
throughput of bottled water, each bottle weighing approximately 20Kg
Solution:
It was decided with the client to create a new transfer line from
the existing bottling line to a new caged pallet line to reduce the
amount of handling. This transfer line consists of part line-shaft
powered
roller and part gravity roller conveyors. The bottles from the
transfer line are loaded into cage-type pallets, which are then removed
by a forklift truck. The filled pallets each weigh approximately 800Kg
Because the transfer line is regularly washed down with cleansing
fluid for hygienic purposes, the
powered roller and part gravity roller conveyors are fabricated
in stainless steel. The caged pallet conveyor, which includes a turntable
unit is fabricated in mild steel.
This new system has significantly increased the throughput of bottled
water, reduced handling costs increased and bottom-line profit.

*Do
you have the problem of removing scrap metal from forming or stamping machines?
We have the answer!
A specialist machinery manufacturer needed a conveyor system to remove
scrap from a large roll-forming machine. This scrap metal varies from
small slugs of 2mm diameter to sheet off-cuts at 250x900mm size.
Solution:
The
Rusmail Belt Conveyor system starts beneath the roll-forming machine,
running at a shallow incline approximately 5m with a clearance of
only 350mm from the floor. Scrap from this conveyor is then transferred
to a second steep-inclined belt conveyor, approx. 2m long outside
the machine to deposit the scrap in a waste collector. The steep-inclined
conveyor is fitted with side walls and flights. Both units are fabricated
in lightweight aluminum.

*We are 'hand in glove' with our clients!
A leading Midlands-based producer of industrial gloves needed to find
a more efficient way of transferring glove products to a printing
line where the gloves are stamped for identification purposes.
Solution:
Products are stacked in bundles on four Rusmail
Quick Delivery QD Belt Conveyors operating at right angles to
an existing printing line . To assist the operatives in removing the
gloves from the new conveyors, the conveyor had to be brought as close
as possible to the existing line. Integral drum drives, with only
83mm diameter drums were incorporated into the conveyor for this purpose.
The four installed units were identical, all 4m long and fitted with
600mm wide PVC belts, height adjustable stands, under-guarding. Each
conveyor was supplied with a foot operated stop/start switch with
armoured cable. The integral drum motors were each rated at 0.12kW.
Due to the client's continuous operation, each conveyor was pre-assembled
and run-tested in our factory to allow very quick positioning and
installation.
