Rusmail Conveyor Archive News 13/12/05:
- Christmas is almost here. We wish you and your family a very happy Christmas and prosperous New Year.
- November and December 2005 have been very busy months for installation work. Of particular note:
*Overhead Cable Conveyor for Packing Stations:
- Overhead cable conveyor installation for feeding boxes and crates to and from product packing stations. The system consists of approx. 180 m length of conveyor circuit with special stainless steel carriers conveying stacked boxes and cartons.
-
Use of the overhead space (6 m height) will significantly reduce the amount of floor space required and the volume of pedestrian and pallet truck movement at floor level. The installation is almost complete and has involved mechanical, electrical and controls installation crews working day and night hours in order not to interrupt production. *Baby Mezzanine Floor Conveyor:
- We completed a 2-tier mezzanine floor conveyor installation for a major baby products store. This included 2 inclined powered belt conveyors and an intermediate 90° powered belt bend. Because the conveyors are within a compartmented area of the store, severe constraints were placed on the access for the lifting and positioning of the conveyors. The project has been successfully completed on time.

*Mezzanine Conveyor & Vehicle Loader Working in Conjunction:
- We are also installing another large mezzanine floor conveyor for boxed textile products. The conveyor is fitted with a 2 m long level powered belt at the ground floor level and 5 m long level nose-over section at the top end on the mezzanine floor. This conveyor will be working in conjunction with a mobile powered belt vehicle loader/unloader. Click here for more details of our Vehicle Loading and Unloading conveyor products.

*Health & Safety to Reduce Handling Risks:
- We have been receiving an increasing number of Vehicle loading/unloading enquiries. We believe this is being prompted by Health and Safety issues and the overriding objective to reduce handling risks i.e. physical effort, bending, stretching etc by operatives. Conveyors can help reduce these risks as well as help reduce your operating costs. We can tailor a conveyor solution to resolve your handling application and to improve overall safety of your operations. Please contact us for any assistance you may need with your handling problems.
